David and Victoria Beckham were joined by their children for an early birthday celebration in Malibu last night, as the former Spice Girls star turns 42.
But noticeably missing was their eldest son Brooklyn, 17, who is living it up at Coachella this weekend.
Making sure his wife had a night to remember, David was on dad duty with daughter Harper, and was pictured holding the youngster in his arms as they left Nobu Malibu.
Close behind were sons Romeo and Cruz, without their older brother who's usually close by.
Harper looked overjoyed to be centre of attention, as she laughed to her dad - as he smiled on happily.
Meanwhile Victoria dressed in her signature black for the occasion, and showed off a glowing tan.
Of course she had her shades in place as she rounded up the group for the outing.
Meanwhile David proved just hours later that he is a man very much in love, as he posted a heartfelt tribute to his wife Victoria - adding a lengthy message alongside a sweet photo of them on Instagram.
Calling his wife "beautiful and passionate", he asked her to let her family "spoil her", and concluded: "Happy birthday we love you."
He wrote: "Happy birthday to this beautiful passionate woman..... Have the most amazing day and let us spoil you because you deserve to be spoilt by your husband and our gorgeous children..
