When a girl and her gran joined in with the phone
app “face swap” craze... the result was the stuff of nightmares.
Hannah Leatherbarrow, 27, from St Helens, Merseyside, placed her face on 86-year-old Clare Gavin’s head and suddenly Top Gear’s
Jeremy Clarkson appeared.
With such a hilarious outcome, what would happen if we played face swap shop with a few of the world’s most famous celebrity couples using the popular app:
Jerry Hall and Rupert Murdoch
Like stepping into a terrifying portal of the future, the feminised media tycoon could easily be Jerry in 20 years time; a sweet, bespectacled old granny. In other words, give Rupert a wig and he’s basically a woman.
David Cameron and George Osborne
Weirdly, the Dave-George on the left looks like a model politician whereas insert the PM’s face on the Chancellor’s, and Dave’s rosy, porcine features look far from Georgeous.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
For the first time in recorded history, Brad looks rough. Those big, bushy eyebrows atop Ange’s scrawny, I mean slim, frame and he looks like he should be shooting up between the toes as an extra on Happy Valley. Ange still looks hot.
Tony and Cherie Blair
The stuff of nightmares: small children look away now. Tony-Cherie looks worryingly at ease in a shoulder-padded frock whilst Cherie-Tony looks like a 12-year-old boy wearing her dad’s suit.
Ant and Dec
Not surprisingly, Ant n’ Dec just look like Ant n’ Dec. Have they even be face swapped? Most people don’t know one from t’other anyway.
Kanye and Kim K
Kanye’s two great loves are Kanye, and Kim – this app must be blowing his tiny little mind. Weirdly, both Kimyes appear to have significant amounts of facial hair.
Michelle and Barack Obama
I mean, where to start? POTUS makes for a fairly convincing woman (a disguise to consider, perhaps, should he fancy giving the next G8 summit a miss) whilst, as ever, Michelle pulls off androgyny with aplomb.
David and Victoria Beckham
Is it just me, or does the Victoria-David on the left look a little like a baby sloth? If evidence were ever needed, meanwhile, Posh Spice should never grow a ‘tache.
Laurel and Hardy
All levels of wrong and yet, somehow, they still look like the ultimate comedic double act. Possibly because it’s just too funny... Definitely another fine mess we’ve got them into.
