You better belieb it! Justin Bieber took the stage to perform a medley of his latest single “Company” and fan-favorite track “Sorry” at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 22.
His rendition of “Sorry” was filled with even more lasers and special effects, but the “Purpose” crooner let the backtrack play and only chimed in for certain parts of the song.
Immediately following his performance, Bieber accepted the award for Top Male Artist and gave a short acceptance speech thanking God, his family and his fans. He’s also a nominee in 11 categories for Top Artist, Top Streaming Song and more. He’s even up against his former love and the most followed person on Instagram, Selena Gomez, in the Top Social Media Artist category.
This year’s Billboard Music Awards went much better for Bieber than previous years. Back in 2013, the Canadian songwriter was booed as he accepted the first-ever Milestone Award, but during his win and performance in 2016, it was all cheers.
Currently, the “Love Yourself” singer is on a short break from his Purpose World Tour before it picks back up again in Winnipeg, Canada, on June 11.
Watch the performance above!
