Budweiser has renamed its beer 'America' until November to help with the election

Fancy a can of America? Sounds like something they'd serve at Trump Towers.
Budweiser has taken its brand name off all of its beer, and re-named it 'America'.

Perhaps they were jealous because we have London Pride.

They said they made this bizarre move because of the US Election. The cans will go back to normal after the November election.
"We thought nothing was more iconic than Budweiser and nothing was more iconic than America,"Tosh Hall, creative director at the can’s branding firm JKR told Fast Co Design.
The poetic tagline for this marketing stunt is "America is in your hands."
"It’s something that we could have not done overnight. If we’d launched Budweiser yesterday, as a new brand, we probably wouldn't have had the license to do it," Marques told the website.
"The work of the past few decades allowed us to build this brand as a truly American brand."
Would this marketing stunt happen in any other country? Will beer stop people from voting for Donald Trump, or inspire them to do so?
And is branded alcohol the answer to apathetic voters? We'll find out in November.
